Van Beyeren, Abraham Hendriksz

Abraham Hendriksz van Beyeren (The Hague, 1620/1621 - Overschie, 1690) was a Dutch painter especially renowned for still lifes of fish, game, luxurious table settings, and marine subjects. His paintings are distinguished by rich textures, dramatic lighting, and a refined rendering of precious materials. He is regarded as one of the great masters of Dutch Baroque still life.
