Domenichini, Apollonio

Apollonio Domenichini, also known as Il Menichini (Venice, 1715-1770), was an Italian painter active in the Venetian eighteenth century. He specialized in vedute and capricci inspired by the manner of Canaletto and Guardi, creating animated urban views and imaginary architectural compositions for the art market of his time.
