Bartolomeo Bimbi (Settignano, 1648 - Florence, 1730) was an Italian painter active at the Medici court. He is best known for his meticulous still lifes, especially depictions of fruit, flowers, vegetables, and animals rendered with descriptive precision and scientific attention. His paintings are important not only artistically but also as visual documents of the natural collections and botanical interests cultivated in late Medici Florence.
