Segna di Bonaventura

Segna di Bonaventura was an Italian painter of the Sienese school, active roughly between 1298 and 1331. He worked for important civic and religious patrons in Siena, including the Palazzo Pubblico, and his sons also became painters. Like Duccio, he developed a graceful style based on curving rhythms and subtle color harmonies, and his works are preserved today in major public collections and churches.
